Dr. Michael B. Wald, M.D.* M.S., C.N.S., C.C.N., C.D.N is supervisor of nutritional services at Advanced Medical of Mount Kisco, P.C. Dr. Wald holds a master's degree in nutrition from the University of Bridgeport, several certifications in nutrition (D.A.C.B.N., C.N.S., C.C.N., C.D.N., M.N.T.C), a postgraduate degree in chiropractic (D.C.) from the Los Angeles College of Chiropractic, a Ph.D. from the Clayton College of Natural Health, and a naturopathic degree (N.D.) from the Clayton School of Natural Healing. A frequent lecturer on nutritional medicine to both the lay public and to healthcare practitioners, Dr. Wald has appeared as a nutrition and health expert on numerous television and radio programs, including Channel Five Fox News, Good Day New York, the Food Network, and Gary Null's "Natural Living." Dr. Wald believes that a combination of healthy foods, nutritional supplements, meditation and yoga…oh yeah – and running, biking and swimming -- is the key to optimal health. “My personal long term plan is to drop dead while I’m competing in a race at age one hundred – no kidding! We only have one life – why not be all used-up before we leave this world? Seriously, it is not necessary for my patient’s to be competitive athletes to be optimally well. Everyone’s health-plan should be uniquely designed and realistic. I try to emphasize to my patient’s that each of us has the choice in life to play full-out."
